Anyone having problems exporting patterns to jpeg?

After updating to 29.2.1 it's super fast to export to jpeg, but now it exports my patterns with lines and spaces (patterns seams amd sometimes random lines) that weren't there before. I think the update broke something 😞

Pictures show same .ai file exported to jpg before and after 29.2.1. (same settings)

Same pattern, different colors - different lines appeared

If I export to png is fine, but I'd like to be able to export directly to jpeg without any problems like I used to (it needs to be jpeg - I deal with customers that are not very "technology friendly").

Is anyone having the same problem? I've searched everywhere and I couldn't find anything about it - just stuff about the anti-aliasing being a problem after the update, which is under investigation.

Thank you

Your document originally started as a CMYK file based on a Print preset and was converted to RGB.

It may not matter, but the document could have become corrupted somehow.

It is worth trying to copy the pattern into a new document based on RGB preset (like Art & Illustration) and see if the export works better.

I just updated to 29.3 and it's solved!

Did you already restart your machine?

How do you export?

Export... > Export for Screens

Export... > Export As...

and what are your settings?

Can you share an example file (use .pdf to attach it here)?

I Export As jpeg

And attached is the pdf.

I do exactly as I used to do before the update and now it's not working anymore. I did test exporting old files that I had previously exported to compare and they're showing the lines when I export again.

And yes, I have restarted the machine several times and I've been testing for days before posting here.

Thanks

Thanks, Tesche. I tried to replicate your problem both with Export... > Export As... as wel as Export... > Export for Screens, but the result looks fine, as in a PNG.

The only thing that puzzles me is that your swatches have CMYK names, which seems to indicate the document was converted from CMYK to RGB.
