anyway to export workspace settings to an old version

Question

I work both from home and in an office. My home computer is is at CC2015 and the work office I now need to commute to 3 days per week is at CC2014. Is there any way to get my 2015 workspaces to work in CC2014? This goes for Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. I tried exporting my settings from 2015 but the 2014 software wouldn't see them.

Copy the file from one computer to another. You can search your computer for the name of the workspace or go here on Mac (similar for windows)

HD\Users\(user name)\Library\Preferences\Adobe Illustrator XXX Settings\en_US\Workspaces

On mac the user library folder is hidden so to get there quicker by holding down the option key and in the finder choosing go >> library.
