Area calc script in Illustrator

Hi -- I installed an area calculation script for Illustrator (on Mac) but am getting this error message:

Used to work with previous Illustrator versions but can't get it to work in the 2022 version. Any suggestions how to fix this?

yes, save the script as Plain Text, not Rich Text
