My arrow keys stopped working after I downloaded Illustrator 2021. Can someone help? what do i do?

Search all open apps for interfering ones. Those could be browsers, browser plugins, screensharing, banking software, email and even antivirus. There are some of them that "steal" the keypress.

Close down all other apps (yes, your browser as well) and run only Illustrator. Does that work?
