artboard actions?

Im kind of annoyed, finding out again Illustrator CC 2019 lacks the same function like CS6. Or am I stupid not to get one of these functions to the actions-pallette-action by recording? Is that even possible?

Sorry, I forgot something stupidly obvious in my initial post:

In the actions panel, use 'Insert Menu Item' to access 'Fit to Artwork Bounds'. This seems to work fine and would have in CS6 too.

You're not missing anything. There are many annoying omissions in recording actions and most haven't changed in years.
