aah, I can’t seem to match artboard-tool dimensions exactly with the image dimensions. How do I customize the dimensions of the artboard to match exactly the dimensions of the image? Can I enter a specific value for lenght and height of artboard-tool?

Help is much appreciated...

Yes, you can enter a specific value for the artboard size in the Control panel when you are in artboard edit mode and also in the Artboard Options dialog box.
