Thanks for reaching out. I understand that after copying the artboard within the same Illustrator file, the entire artboard appears white, and I see you've already updated to the latest version.

As Ton mentioned, could you please check if the 'Move/Copy Artwork with Artboard' option is enabled in the Artboard Tool panel before duplicating the artboard? If that option is unchecked, Illustrator will copy only the artboard boundaries without any of the content, which might be why you're seeing a blank (white) result.

If the option is already checked and you're still facing the issue, please confirm your Windows or macOS version, and let me know whether this is happening with all files or just a specific one. If possible, sharing a short screen recording of your workflow would be really helpful to better understand what's going on and take it up with the product team if needed.
