Artboards have disappeared

I went to work on one of my files which had many artboards and now I can only see one. Anyone know how to retrieve all of the missing boards?

Thanks

Ian

well, very sad, but it seems that you've lost all the artboards except the first one.
Neither Illustrator nor Photoshop see other artboards. if you have another project like this, check the saving settings: it seems that you have "Use artboards" On and Range = 1. Strange for .AI saving, but I don't see any other reasons.

In which AI version is the file saved? In which version do you work now? Do you see the content of the missing artboards? Did you have any advanced questions from the program during the file opening?

Hi Anna,

It's 24.1.2 which is what I am currently using. I am working from the creative cloud. I don't see any of the content of the missing artboards. I was asked to select the file type when opening the file.

Thanks

Ian

is it possible to share the file? It's hard to say anything without seeing more.
