Artwork scales up / changes when embedding file

Hi All, I'm having an issue with Illustrator scaling up artwork when I embed a file to setup a knife?

I have tested in both version 29.8.3 and 30.0 on windows 11 and it does the same thing.

My colleuges computer next to me does not do it? Honor scale on import is ticked and makes no difference...

Snap to point was on. Tested with it off, but it didn't help. Resetting prefs works.

@ImaginationGraphics check the misalignment between the measurement units of your two documents, causing Illustrator to apply an incorrect conversion factor. Since the problem is machine-specific, the quickest solution is to reset your Illustrator preferences completely to match your colleague's clean setup. You can do this by holding down Control Alt Shift (Windows) immediately after clicking the Illustrator icon to launch the application. This forces a full preferences reset, which should clear any corrupted unit or import setting that is causing the unexpected scaling and immediately resolve the issue.
