Asset export not applying alpha channel

It seems that if you exported anything via "File > Export > Export As" and select white background, the assets exported after that from the "Asset export" box will have white background also. It's very counterproductive, the export pannel shoudn't pick the options logged on the "Export as" window (Users need to change the background option back to transparent on "File > Export > Export As" then re-export everything on "Asset export" to have alpha on their files).
