Astute Graphics Plugin Inside Illustrator?

Question

I have seen various posting to include AI which claim there is an Astute Graphics plugin that ships with Illustrator. Trying to confirm bc I am not seeing it in Ai 30.0

Also is there a recommended Astute plugin for non commercial use. The suite is more than I want to spend for my use at home.

None of Astute Graphics' plugins are included with Illustrator. However, it's possible to get four Astute Graphics' plugins for free by downloading a trial version of their plugin suite. If you cancel the suite you get to keep Autosavior, DirectPrefs, MirrorMe and Astute Buddy.

For anyone who has to handle a lot of customer provided artwork the Vector First Aid plugin is arguably worth more than the price of the subscription based on the amount of time it can save automatically fixing a lot of gunk in those art files.
