I am trying to automatically fill corners, how us this possible?  I saw an artist named Martin Sati do this with his artwork, but am unable to figure out how to fill corners in my illustration.

It should be public now!

Yes, now the link is public.

Based on your sample file which is a bit different from what I expected, I have not tried to find out some other automated way to "fill" the "corners". This sample is not consistent enough to create the automation you are probably looking for.

As a playground for some experiments, you can download a quick sketch of a creature, half cucumber salad or watermelon, half overweight dinosaur that is disenchanted with its entire living.

This approach is a simple and flexible Pathfinder application. Drag around the stroked paths to see what happens. It is sometimes a bit unpredictable, but hopefully worth to have a look at.

It sounds like you might be talking about using Live Paint and the Shapebuilder. Check these tutorials to see if they help you do what you want:

breG,

Can you show a screenshot/image with an indication or rough sketch of the desired outcome, maybe with arrows and description?

There are scripts that may serve the purpose.

Please use the Insert Photos button at the top of the Replys box (looks like moon over mountains): this will show the image in your post, unlike the more conspicuous Drag & drop attachment which will just give a link.
