Question

Auto generating png files in Illustrator

Hi,

I need some help from you experts.  In Photoshop, I can automatically generate image files using the File>Generate>Image Assets ability and naming a folder so it ends in .png.

This way, every time a change is made within the folder, Photoshop will save off a new png version (and overwrite the old file if it already exists).

Is there similar functionality in Illustrator?

I know I can File>Export or File>Export for Screens, but I'll like the process to be automated.  This way, I'll always have the latest version saved off and I can drag it into another program I'm using.

Thanks for the help!

So I'm assuming that means you can't do this in Illustrator? :-)
