Hello everybody,

I am wondering if there is a way in Illustrator to add highlights to all objects automatically in the same way a dropshadow can be added?

Thank you very much for your help.

Tobias

Hope this makes my question more clear: the red would be the highlight created by the light hitting the sphere.

Can this be generated for all spheres at the same time using an effect for example?

You could add the red as another fill and use the transform effect on it:

You want to create a "bevel and extrude"?

Hello,

I am not sure if that is what I am thinking of, I may be wrong though.

The idea is that if I draw 10 spheres, select all of them and then add a dropshadow, all of them will show the dropshadow next to them. I was wondering if it is possible to create a highlighted area where the light hits the sphere in the same way for all of them.

Is this possible with "bevel and extrude"?

Thank you!
