"Automatically Save Recovery Data Every" preferences in MacOS does not work

Hello Adobe Community,

I can't set Illustrator 2025

>Settings>Preferences>File Handling>File Save Options>"Automatically save recovery data every:">

to e.g. 1 minute.

I've set it to any value greater than "30 seconds", but it always goes back to "30 seconds".

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Even after updating to 29.8.2 the problem still exists.

Are there any developments in the resolution?
