Automation in Illustrator

Hi All,

I started a automation project for the pharma secondary packaging artwork development using the actions in illustrator.

my agenda is to automate the placement of below listed items on a specific technical drawing.

pharmacodes

edge code

braille information

variable data information

text free margins,

varnish free area

For my requirement, i had fixed a origin at the left top corner of the cutting guide and developed a action by recording the x and y values.

Of course i faced some issues when i run the developed script.

Need your suggestions, if we could develop this using any other scripting language which support in illustrator application.
