Black Screen - no artwork

Hi all,

I hope someone can help me.

I am struggling to open any file on illustrator. For some reason it does not show the graphics. It only shows a black screen. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it multiple times. I have also used Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner to uninstall Illustrator, reinstalled and still the same problem persists.

I have excluded illustator from my threats and security.

I have tried installing a different version. Same problem.

All my other Adobe programs work perfectly.

Any ideas on what else to try?

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind performing a clean reinstallation of the GPU drivers (Intel / NVIDIA / AMD) and setting the Graphics Preference to High-Performance for Illustrator (https://adobe.ly/3Ux9TqY) as Bobby suggested, and checking if it helps?

What kind of graphics card is in your computer system? Is the driver for it up to date? Sometimes the graphics card driver can be a source for big problems with Illustrator.
