Blend options in Illustrator

Hi,

As far as i can tell blend options in illustrator with specified distance is limited to max. 1000pt (352mm). It would be highly appreciated if this limitation can be removed.
My goal is to be able to set markings for washers on a banner with a spacing of +- 500mm.

Any tips on how to achieve this with a workaround are appreciated 🙂
