How far are you zoomed in when taking that screenshot? Illustrator now lets you go all the way to 64000%. Similar to what you see when you look at a razor blade  under a high powered microscope.

If that does not help, please upload a link via dropbox or similar to your file, and we will be able to figure this out quicker for you.
