Question

Blending gradient on brush strokes

Can anyone help me here? I want to get the brush strokes (bottom roots) to have the same gradient form as the wind turbine and effectively have everything blend together to form one single object. Is there any way I can achieve this directly on illustrator?

Cheers y'all

DOes it need to be a brush stroke?

You could just apply a normal stroke and then a gradient across the stroke.

No, I guess it doesn't have to be, I just found it to be the easiest way to get the roots to look the way I wanted. So would you go over the brush strokes with a normal stroke and then apply the gradients individually?

Thanks
