Blending Tool Default

Hello everyone! Does anyone know if it's possible to change the default Blend Tool settings? I'd really like to change mine from "Smooth Color" to "Specified Distance", because it's what I use more oftenly, and it's honestly a bit annoying to end up having to go back and forth every single time I use the tool. I tried to find an answer here, but found nothing specific about this. Can anyone help? Thanks a lot, x
