Question

Blurry Illustrator 3D objects

I'm trying create a high res cup image but the symbol wrap is looking very low res. The symbol image is vector and is not increased in size when wrapped onto teh object. Document Raster Effects are set to hi-res, ray tracing is on and set to hi-res. I also tried a bitmap symbol version with the same result.
Is there a way to get a cleaner looking 3D render in Illustrator? Screenshots attached.

Hello @kotlkn,

Thanks for reaching out. To achieve a cleaner-looking 3D render in Illustrator, you can try rendering the 3D artwork as a vector.

This way, you will create a vector-based 3D representation of your object, which should result in a cleaner and scalable output. Remember that vector graphics in Illustrator can be scaled without losing quality.

Give it a try, and let me know if it helps!

Best,

Anshul
