Blurry printing fine type Mac

Has anyone noticed that fine type prints blurry? 

I'm on an iMac M1/Sonoma 14 with HP M452dw and suddenly small point size light weight fonts look blurry. Not unreadable but just not perfect like it used to be.

Any ideas/help?

So when can we expect Illustrator to have its own print engine?


It's the system's and printer driver's job to offer that.

 

Always a good idea to wait with a system upgrade until all your drivers and devices are ready for it.

Can you please show a photo?

Does that printer support PostScript?

Does it look better when you print from Acrobat?

Do you have a driver that supports Sonoma?

Yes, the printer does support PostScript

Yes, it does look correct printed from Acrobat
I'll check the HP website to see if there is an updated driver
