Starting/running Adobe illustrator goes slow. What can I do to increase performance?

Would it make a difference if I add 16 RAM or is the graphics card or processor a bottleneck?

I have an asus mini-pc PN41 with these specifications:

-Celeron N5100, 1X 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro

-Intel® UHD Graphics for 11th Gen

(see www.asus.com/displays-desktops/mini-pcs/pn-series/mini-pc-pn41-s1/techspec/)

THis is the official advice:

There are a couple of blogs about the subject as well. Does this happen with any small files or just some very complex ones? In that case you would have to look at files as well.

Do you have a gaming driver installed for the graphic card? Illustrator doesn't like them too well.

Also: Work on locally saved files. Shut down your browser while working in Illustrator.

As far as RAM goes: more is more. 16 GB is just the minimum recommended amount of RAM.
