Brush Increase/Decrease shortcut doesn't work on my computer

Hello, I am using Illustrator 28.1

I have a 2021 Macbook Pro which has an italian keyboard. unfortunately the brackets do not work as shortcuts, and in the key shortcut wondow, "brush increase/decrease" isnt even listed. I am very confused and wondering if anyone has had the same problem, or if anyone can help me sort this out. thank you so much!!

Several shortcuts do only apply to English system, keyboards, Illustrator version.

You could try < and >

Or just hunt around the keyboard.

i tried but still it isnt working :(. I am trying to search everywhere for it, as workflow wise is a huge inconvenience.. and it doesnt even show up as an availablitiy to add in the keyboard shortcut menu. I am so confused.
