Brushes in Adobe Illustrator

There is a big difference. But Procreate is a raster based application, where is Illustrator is vector based.

So it would be interesting to hear what you are trying to create with these brushes.

For me, and again this is just my opinion. I would use Illustrator to create the line art. And then I would use Photoshop or Clip Studio Paint or even Procreate to paint with.

Naturally I would assume that raster based applications always have more brushes. But you can also make your own brushes too in Illustrator.

In Illustrator, you can see the settings for every brush to see how it was made. Does Procreate have the same ability? If so, can you share a screenshot of brush settings from Procreate?

It’s not difficult to create custom Art Brushes or Pattern Brushes in Illustrator.

You’ll likely have a hard time finding brushes analogous to those in Procreate for Illustrator. The former is a pixel-based package, like Photoshop. Illustrator is vector-based.

Can you give an example of the kind of brush you need?
