Brushstroke - making the file too big - never had this issue

Hello all,

I work in fashion industry and I have been using this stitchline brushstroke that I have used for like years.

I switched to another company, downloaded new illustrator and new laptop and whenever I use the stitchline brush stroke, the file is getting too huge. Can someone help me with this? I save as illustrator pdf file with default mode.

Thank you :S

I save as illustrator pdf file with default mode.

Might you have been saving with »Create PDF Compatible File« unchecked previously?

That I am not too sure.... this is the brush i brought over from my previous job.

The only difference is the version of illustrator has been upgraded. I only use default illustrator setting.

The more I am using the brush stroke, the bigger the size it gets 😞

Without seeing a file, it's impossible to even guess.

You could read the documentation about brushes and how to tell pixels from raster.

Also: about how large are we talking?

That is a pixel based brush, right?

What is different in your files now from your former job?
