Bug for CPU Preview

In some CMYK documents, the preview keeps switching to the CPU preview instead of using the GPU preview. I have no idea about why is this happening.

PS: I have tried every other solution for this but it doesn't work. Please help.

Same problem here. Keeps switching to cpu and gpu is greyed out on AI 27.1.1. Document type does not matter. Big files, small files, vector objects or raster... It happens every day. Tried everything suggested online, but nothing works.

Hi @lostonthedge,

We are sorry for the trouble. Many users have reported multiple users. Would you mind confirming the OS & sharing your system specs, like RAM, GPU make & model? Also, would it be possible for you to share some sample files in which you are facing this issue? It would be really helpful for us to investigate the issue further.

I will be looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Anshul Saini

Here are my CPU specs:

GPU being used:

Unfortunately I would not be able to share some files because these are marked as confidential or is treated as the property of the organization that I currently work in. I mostly work with packaging design so there are some heavy files that I work with, some of them includes textures, mockups, product images and all of that.

Thanks for sharing the details. Without sample files, I am afraid it is not possible to further investigate the issue.

I would suggest deleting one layer/ group at a time to check if you are able to switch back to GPU mode or not, as this is a file-specific issue. A layer must be defective, which is causing this.

Let us know if you find the defective layer.

Please tell us your version and system.

Please tell us your hardware specifications.

This happens in some documents. Do they have anything in common?
