Bug: Illustrator fails to open when connected to 5G wifi

Windows 11. Illustrator 28.0. This is a laptop with a built-in wifi chip. Everything on my computer is fully up to date (windows, graphics, etc).

Only started happening recently (past month or so). It has definitley worked on my 5G wifi before, so I'm not sure what changed. I've tried various combinations of uninstalling, cleaning, reseting preferences, rebooting, and none of them fix it. I suppose for now I can just work on 2.4G wifi, but still this seems very odd and wanted to report.

Only crashes when connected to 5G network, not 2.4G network. See attached video.
