Bullets and numbering will disappear after I convert them to outlines

When I use Illustrator to process chinese text, the software will enable Adobe chinese single-line composer by default. In this state, after bullets and numbering is done, the display in the file is normal, but after converting the text to outlines, the bullets and numbering will all disappear.

If I manually change the writer of each text box to Adobe chinese every-line composer, bullets and numbering are still normal after converting the outline.

But this operation is very troublesome, and if I forget to do this, the file must end up with errors.

Hi I just get this bug, it was after copying text from another .ai document, if you click the text, disable and enable bullet it will convert to outline normaly. At least this solved this for me

Running AI version 28.1 and this bug still exists.  Anyone know if it is fixed yet?

I understand that using Flatten Transparency works but obviously a bug fix in in order.

You have to first convert them to normal text and then outline them. Or use Flatten transparency. It has been like this in InDesign for ages. I would not expect it to change in Illustrator.

I just read another post that said it was fixed in 28.6.  Going to download it and test it.

Try Object > Flatten transparency. Check "Outline fonts"

In most cases, Ctrl+Shift+O is used more frequently when only creating outlines for text, and other operations are not commonly used. There is indeed an exception in this function in the current version. I hope that the development team can solve the problem in future versions, because the alternatives are inconvenient.
Thank you very much for your reply.

I just tried Outline text yesterday and it worked as expected. Don't know what's going wrong for you. But Flatten transparency will solve it.
