Burning AI and Photoshop files onto CD

I'm not sure this is a thing, but is it possible to burn Photoshop and illustrator files onto a CD?

If you are referring to documents, then yes.

You could also burn the application related files on a DVD (a CD would perhaps be not enough capacity), but you cannot run it from that.
