Can I configure my mouse scroll wheel to rotate an object?

Is it possible to use a combo of keyboard shortcuts and and the mouse scroll wheel to rotate objects instead of having to locate the rotate arrows on the at the corners of the object?  Would save me hours

I don't think that it is possible.

You could use the Rotate tool or the Free Transform tool to rotate without having to locate the bounding box knobs.
