Hello,

the design I want in the forefront doesn't have any background,

but I want a line to cross it under and disappear behind the first object,

what should I do, please ?

Thank you !

It is not hiding it, but the Eraser tool can erase the part of the line you don't want.

I'm not quite sure what exactly you want to have, but it sounds like knockout groups could solve it.

So you assign a white fill (or any color) and give only that fill an opacity of 0%.

Then group it with the things you want to hide.

The group then needs to be a knockout group.
