Hi there,

I'm trying to find what Adobe tool I need in order to render an imported PDF image such as the below (assuming I import the image in the correct orientation in a pdf file). Can I use Adobe Illustrator to do this?

Thank you

Michelle

Do you need a vector or raster rendering? I did not know AI would do this. I would open the 3D.PDF in Acrobat Pro and export as JPG after getting the view I want. I am confident they will not match the lighting and quality of the images in your sample.

Yes, Illustrator should be able to do it with the restrictions you have listed. You can use File>Open to do this.

Hi Larry, thanks for your reply. Great - I'm really glad to hear this. Now... I do not know illustrator at all. Is it quite easy to do rendering or, is it going to take honed skills to make it look as good as it does in the example I gave above?

Illustrator cannot read the 3D data in a PDF.
