DId the file ever get saved?

Where are you trying to save it? If not on the internal harddisk, try that.

Which version of Illustrator and which system is it?

I am trying to save it to my folder but the message keeps coming up on screen. At some time it has to he packaged and saved, and some time Package option not working .

I am Using Illustration 2023 version . My System is MICROSOFT Surface laptop.

So you are getting this when packaging the file? Or with Save as as well?
