I am a novice with AI and have no idea what I need to learn to recreate the circle and background color changes. Thank you!

The background cannot be created in Illustrator. Water color is something that just doesn't work.

    The background is most definitely just a colorized stock photo of some ink blots/ marble paper. That's Photoshop stuff. The rest is just regular text and strokes with a gradient fill plus some scatter and art brushes for the glitzy stuff. All very basic at the end of the day and just looking up a few of the keywords in the online help can ennlighten you enough just as of course they can be used to dig for tutorials in a web search.
