Question

Can't copy and paste text from Illustrator to After Effects

I can't copy and paste text from Illustrator to After Effects. I have tried one of the most used methods to solve the issue, opening the project from the After Effects panel rather than directly opening the project. It works till I copy 1 text, when I proceed to copy & paste other texts, it doesn't work again. I can't keep opening the project again & again to copy each text. Any NEW METHOD/SOLUTION would be appreciated. It's been a while since I have had this problem.

Which system is it?

Does it work when you boot into Safe Mode?

I am using iMac 2020.
Updated to macOS Sonoma Version 14.5
I am using Illustrator & After Effects, updated to the latest version per Adobe Suites.

No, I haven't tried to boot Mac in safe mode ever. Does it help with the stated issue?

It will boot your Mac into a state that only has the operating system and no interfering third party apps or system extensions. It's these things that can badly interfere with Illustrator's handling of the clipboard
