Can’t find the metallic slider

Hello Everyone!

I am new to AI and I was trying to create a design with the inflated metallic effect but when I select my object and inflate it, I don't see the metallic slider at all, in fact there's no other option apart from selecting the material type in the materials section. So if someone could help me out with it please I'd really appreciate it!

Is it possible that 'properties' is hidden because the panel is taller than your screen? Try hiding your dock.
