Can’t save as or export to SVG

I can’t save my file as an SVG or export artbords to SVG.
When I try to save the file as an SVG I get: An unknown error occured.

When I try to export I get: Unable to export as SVG.

I am running Illustrator 29.5.1 on Mac 15.5
I tried saving in different locations on my system. I also tried it with a minimum file meaning a new file with only a simple one color rectangle.

Thanks for confirming. Would you mind trying to run Illustrator under a different administrator account (macOS) and checking if it helps?
If the problem persists, please share a link to a sample file, and screenshots of the export settings used, so I can check it on my end.

Can you save other file formats to all those locations?

Other formats fine. Restarted illustrator and then I was able to export to svg one, then same problem with next exort. Was able to export all I needed for now by restarting illustrator again and again, but this can’t be a long time solution.
