Question

Can't save the illustration (Illustrator 30.2.1). You do not have enough access privileges.

I followed the other instructions, I worked with Disk Utility to “fix” my external HD but the erros keeps coming back. I didn’t have that a year ago, with the same equipment. It’s so frustrating not being able to save my file in the same disk where they are stored. Any suggestions?

    Thank you for reaching you. This does sound concerning. Could you please confirm the exact version of macOS running on your system? Additionally, let me know if the issue occurs with a specific folder location (such as an internal drive, external drive, network drive, or a cloud-synced folder like iCloud Drive or Dropbox).
     

    Also, please check whether Full Disk Access is enabled for Illustrator. If it isn’t, try enabling it and let me know if that changes anything.
