Can't see what gradient I have added?

Hi guys!

Been a while....

Just don't get the time I want to play....;)

I created a logo for a new site a while back and created a layer where I had my background gradient....

The problem is I can click on the layer and it shows a path triangle but no gradient attached....

The gradient is there because I can see it and if I turn off the layer it disappears...

Why can't I see my gradient colour attached to this layer....

All I see is the black to white scale but no colours set?

Maybe you have the gradient assigned at the group or layer level instead of the object level. Is the circle to the right of the layer solid? That indicates there is an Appearance assigned to the layer. Click the circle and check your Appearance Panel.

Wow you live and learn...Yes, you were right....don't remember doing that but in the appearance panel "indicates appearance contains paint" and when i click on that I can see my gradient attached....

    Thank you!
