Can't select the tools I want to use - Illustrator automatically switches tools

Hello,

Today I have experienced a problem that have never occured while using Illustrator before. When I try to select different tools Illustrator won't let me, most of the time the selection jumps to the rotation tool (sometimes to a different one). Usually when I use Illustrator the basic tool is the selection tool (V), and once i deselect an object or something it jumps back to that, but now it jumps to the rotation tool. I have made a video of the problem and attached it.

Anyone ran into this problem before? I need Illustrator for work so this is really important.
