Can the default 10px value for 'Effect > Path > Offset Path' be changed?

Every time I use the Effect > Path > Offset Path command, the dialog box defaults to an offset of 10px. In my daily workflow, I almost always use a much smaller value, like 1px or 2px.

Having to manually change the value from 10px every single time is inefficient, especially when working on complex files.

Is there any hidden preference or script to change this default value? If not, please consider this a feature request to either allow users to set their own default or have the dialog remember the last-used value, similar to how other tools function.
