Unlikely, the image of the implant appears to be a raster image.

I’m a little confused. Are you trying to edit it in Adobe Acrobat? If so, which version/type of Acrobat are you using to try and edit it? Or are you opening it in Illustrator, Adobe’s vector graphics design and editing program, and trying to change it from there? If so, what version of that are you using?

What are you trying to edit? The text? The graphic elements? The image? All of the above?

With more information, I’m hopeful that we can get you a better answer for your question, and ideally, maybe a solution to your issues.

If we’re talking about an image, it’s often better to edit it in Adobe Photoshop — even if we’re talking type editing. Photoshop is really targeted for editing pixel-based art, which is the classic definition of a single piece “image.”

The best strategy is to mask/opaque areas you want to alter, like blocks of type, and lay new information over the top. Photoshop has excellent type generation tools, and if you save the resulting product as a Photoshop PDF file, even saves it as vector graphics which gets you better reproduction than other Photoshop pixel formats, which tend to either slightly blur the type edges or make them rough/jaggy when you reproduce them.

But frankly, if you’re working with AI, it’s generally faster and easier to request a new AI image than it is to edit an already existing one. That’s just my two cents, and pretty much what my opinion is really worth. But I think my recommendation to work in Photoshop or simply re-generate the AI ad is the better course of action. And it’s worth significantly more than a few pennies. Maybe even a buck or two.

    Hope this helps,
