Can we keep the Panels Active Dynamically?

Is it possible to keep the panels active in Illustrator?  Even if we close the document because every time I close the document and open it again I don't want to open the panels manually.

HI @SA8888

Is your panel is CEP panel or the UI designed using the ScriptUI?

Best regards

Like Lambiloon already suggested, create your own workspace:

Set up the panels the way you like them.

Window menu > Workspace > New Workspace...

Give it a name, save it and select it from the Window menu when you need it.

Sorry, I did not notice this was about scripting...

Hi, you can make your workspace and put the panels which you like and open all of them with one click...regards

Okay, I saw this link earlier but didn't get it.

Can we open the panel using a script? (Just a thought process)

I believe you can trigger different workspaces using a script. So let's say you have a workspace that you like to use for logo design.. and another you like to use for proofing... or use relevant examples if these were nonsense. You could trigger these different workspaces.

However I think that's a bit of an "X/Y Problem". the issue of panels closing and then having to be reopened manually can be fixed without a script. Set up all of your toolbars and panels the way you want them. Go to Window > Workspace > New Workspace, and give it a name. then, gracefully close out of any open documents and quit illustrator. then relaunch illustrator. Your panels should appear just how they were when you quit.

edit** maybe i'm confused like everybody else? Which panels are you trying to open/keep persistent? Like pathfinder, appearance, stroke, swatches, etc? Or are these custom scriptUI/CEP panels that you want to remain open?
