Can you do a “fill” using the blob brush?

Is there a way to draw enclosed shapes with the Blob Brush and then select a color (from Swatches) to "fill" in the shape? I hope there is.

Using the shapebuilder tool you should be able to do that.

Thanks, but I'm talking specifically about the Blob Brush because I like to use it to draw freehand.
