I'm hoping that there is a way to hide the bright blue Gen AI button in the toolbar. Just my preference to see it go as the bright blue is very distracting.

Thanks

Hi @BardicHeartache,

Thanks for reaching out. Yes, you can hide the blue Generative AI button from the toolbar. Simply click on the Generative AI button, then click the triple-dot icon in the options panel that appears, and select 'Hide Menu'. The button should no longer appear in your toolbar.

Let me know if that works for you.

doing so hides the button, but it reappears after relaunching the app. 😑

Hello @bunnyhero

I’m sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind trying to reset Illustrator's preferences as described in this article (https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/troubleshoot-preference-issues.html), and then following Abhishek's suggestions to see if it helps?

Disclaimer: Please note that renaming preferences folders will remove all the custom settings, and Illustrator will launch with default settings. You can also save a backup of the folders in case you want to. The location is mentioned above.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
