Cant Move Obejct

I get this error message when trying to move an object. I can re-size it but I cant select and move it. Any suggestions?

Did you select a guide?

Lock all guides and select again.

Did you select by "Select All"?

Maybe you deleted some guides the wrong way and there are leftovers. You could try and select "Stray points" and delete them.
