cant move objects after shape builder tool

im working on a small chat icon, i have used the shape builder tool to join two objects (a triangle and an ellipse) now hwen i select the new object with either selection tool there is no option to move. anyone got any ideas?

Which version, which system?

What exactly are you trying o move them?

Have you checked if they are locked?

im using illustrator 2020 on a windows 10 hp laptop and they aren't locked

update: i can move other objects in the artboard just not this one.
