CC Library freeze

I use Illustrator 30.7 on a Macbook Pro 2026. The library just freezes into an image and does not allow any interaction with its component. Due to this I'm unable to select assets such as colours from my library, hindering work. Adobe team please resolve this. This issue has been persisting for about more than a month atleast.

    Hi ​@Abhishek Rao thanks for the swift response.

    I’m using Apple Macbook Pro M5, Tahoe 26.5.1

    I updated Illustrator to 30.8, the library issue has been resolved for now.

    Thank you so much.

    I will check on the other Adobe softwares and let you know if I’m encountering a similar issue.

      Hi ​@Celestial_Delight7303, thanks for reaching out, and I'm sorry you've been dealing with this for over a month. I understand how disruptive this can be when your workflow relies on assets stored in Creative Cloud Libraries.

      To help us narrow this down, could you first confirm your exact macOS version and whether the Libraries panel freezes only in Illustrator or in other Creative Cloud apps such as InDesign or Photoshop as well?

      Please also update Illustrator to the latest available version, 30.8, through the Creative Cloud desktop app and check whether the behavior persists.

      If it does, please sign out of the Creative Cloud desktop app, sign back in, and test the Libraries panel again. If the issue continues, close Illustrator and any other Adobe apps that use Libraries, open the Creative Cloud desktop app, and press Command + Option + R. This relaunches Creative Cloud and its supporting processes, including Creative Cloud Libraries. Once it relaunches, reopen Illustrator and test again.       Please let us know the results of these tests so we can narrow this down further.

        ​@Abhishek Rao I’m not seeing information about a 30.8 release anywhere. Did you mean Illustrator Beta?

        It’s currently being rolled out in phases, and it will be available to you once the full rollout is complete. Please wait for a few days and keep an eye on your Creative Cloud Desktop for the app.
